Smashworks Dance's inaugural repertory work BROLAND lampoons “bro culture” through sharp, athletic choreography laced with satire. In suit jackets and aviators, dancers weave swagger-filled unison with explosive bursts of movement. Clouds of Axe body spray linger as their bravado spirals into playful absurdity. This work has been performed outside, in bars, on stages, through the camera lens, and in a 6' x 6' box.
