VARIATIONS ON EXCHANGE explores the simplicity and intricacy of human interaction. From peer pressure and societal expectations, to emotional manipulation and the associated physiological responses, the performers connect with each other through multiple forms of dance, including contemporary/Thai fusion and athletically-driven movement in rock climbing harnesses.

VARIATIONS ON EXCHANGE brings to life various individual and societal experiences, inspiring and challenging the audience while encouraging self-reflection and the evaluation of our own community.
Part 1
The following works follow an individual experience.
From childhood to maturity, interactions with others influence our personal development.
We attain clarity and self-awareness as some connections form and others fade.
Part 2
The following works follow a societal experience. Cohesion within a group rests on the coordination of multiple personalities. As an individual initiates change, the surrounding community responds. Consciously or unconsciously, with defiance or obedience, we evolve with society.
